If you’ve ever attended a handbell festival, you know the thrill of performing with hundreds of other ringers, attending workshops, hearing other choirs, and meeting other handbell ringers.
If you’ve never attended a bell festival you may be interested in our Observer Program. You can attend for one day to watch rehearsals and mini rings, participate in a workshop, shop at the marketplace and socialize with other ringers. If you attend on Saturday, a concert ticket is included. This is a unique experience to truly appreciate the beauty of handbell music on a grand scale. Please plan to attend It’s About Time in June 2023 at St. Lawrence College in Kingston, Ontario!
The prices below apply to all members of OGEHR, as well as members of other handbell Guilds.
Instructions:
Ringers: If you are ringing with your regular choir, please register under Ringer Registration in the correct category - Copper A, Copper B or Bronze.
Lone Ringers: If you are not ringing with your regular choir, we need to find a place on the ringing floor for you. Please register under Lone Ringer Registration. You will be asked your category, preferred ringing position and whether you have made arrangements to ring with another choir. If you do not, we will find you a place with an attending choir.
Choir Directors must register the choir that is attending Festival (Choir Registration). By noting the number of people, and equipment (bells, foam) that will be coming with them, we can setup a floor plan for the ringing floor.
Room accommodations must be booked directly with St. Lawrence College. Booking notes, link and descriptions of rooms can be found under Facilities.
