Registration information

Please review the following information before proceeding to register below.

 

OGEHR MEMBERSHIP REQUIREMENT

Each person registering for this Festival must be an OGEHR Member (Individual, Affiliate or Honorary) for the 2016-2017 membership year. Contact J.C. Coolen, OGEHR Membership Secretary at (905)683-5757 or membership@ogehr.ca , with any questions, or visit click here for Guild membership details.

DEPOSIT & DUE DATES

All registrations must be completed online. This year registration is a one-step process and opens January 15, 2017. Full payment is required at the time of registration. All registrations are due by April 30, 2017.  Workshop selections will be posted and available for selection in February 2017. Completing your final registration after March 5, 2017 will add $25 per registrant to your registration fee. 

PROGRAM OPTIONS

There are four Program Options for participation at United We Ring From C to C to C:

Program with meals; Program no meals; Observer; and Chaperone.

1. Program with Meals

  • Thursday, Friday and Saturday program
  • 4 meals (lunch & dinner on Friday & Saturday)
  • no breakfasts (included in McMaster accommodations package)
    • Adult $262 (includes taxes)
    • Youth $256 (includes taxes) Youth are defined as 17 years of age or under on May 25, 2017

2. Program No Meals

  • Thursday, Friday and Saturday program
  • NO meals
  • $170 (includes taxes)

3. Observer

  • Friday OR Saturday program
  • 2 meals (lunch and dinner) on day selected
  • participation in one workshop
  • observe rehearsals and mini rings
  • one Festival Concert ticket
  • $150 (includes taxes)

4. Chaperone

  • one non-ringing Chaperone for every 6 or fewer Youth ringers
  • Age 21 or over
  • 4 meals (lunch and dinner on Friday and Saturday)
  • one Festival Concert ticket
  • $110 (includes taxes)

Choir Registration

All choir directors need to register their choir and provide the information below. Please gather all the information prior to completing the form.

  • Choir Name
  • Location
  • Playing level: Tin   Copper   Bronze
  • Name of Director attending the Festival
  • Equipment being brought to Festival – Handbell octaves, Chime octaves, Foam (feet)
  • If you can host lone ringers, how many and what positions are available. Any arrangements already made with lone ringers.

REFUNDS

A 75% refund on your payment will be made if cancellation is made before April 15th; 50% if before May 1st; and NO refund after May 1st.

CONFIRMATION AND RECEIPTS

Once your initial registration is completed and your payment is processed, you’ll see the ‘Thank you for registering” screen.  Within a few minutes you should also receive an emailed confirmation message and a receipt from PayPal. Please keep these for your records. The PayPal receipt is your proof of payment.

BURSARIES

A limited number of Bursaries are available for financial assistance. Bursary information and an application form are here. Bursary applicants need to print, complete and mail a completed Bursary Application Form to: Margaret Merkley, 53 Shieling Crescent, Kingston, ON K7M 4M7.

MINI RINGS

If you would like to participate in the Mini Ring concerts, please visit the Music page for information and an application form. Concert time is limited, so please get your application in as soon as possible to ensure you have a chance to ring! Participation in the Mini Ring concerts is based solely on the date we receive your completed application to perform until all performance slots are filled.
